How to be the best-dressed guest AND not outshine the bride
Dressing for weddings can be tricky. You’re eager to stand out and look your best, yet fear looking a bit too good, that you may stand out a bit too much. Don’t worry, at Dress2party we have you covered. Here is a few of our do’s and don’ts and we’ve even picked out our top 10 wedding guest dresses, you can thank us later.
OUR DO’s AND DON’TS:
1. DON’T WHERE WHITE
Or off white, or cream, or even very light pink. Don’t do it. Although this may seem like an obvious point it has to be noted. A well-dressed guest does not wear white to someone else’s wedding, it won’t be forgotten.
2. DO PICK YOUR DRESS CAREFULLY
A black full length dress can be worn again and again, the same cant be said for a red ball gown. Pick your dress wisely.
3. DON’T SHOW UP IN THE SAME COLOUR SCHEME AS THE BRIDESMAIDS
It’s awkward. Think carefully before recycling the blush off the shoulder chiffon you wore to your cousins wedding last summer. Ask what the colour scheme is beforehand to avoid the awkwardness, the one thing that’s almost as bad as looking as the bride is looking like a bridesmaid.
4. DO COME TO DRESS2PARTY TO FIND THE BEST GUEST DRESS
